“It’s the music of MY generation, too!”

This past July 19, 2014, I had the fortune of playing the concert aboard the AJ Meerwald, NJ’s Official Tall ship as we sailed the Hudson. One of the crew members who has been with the ship for 14 years said he loved the music, calling it “the music of my generation.” Then a 2014 college graduate said “It’s the music of my generation, too.” Wow! We had a nice conversation and she told me that at her college young folks were totally into folk music with a positive edge. I’m still smiling about that. It makes the world look so much brighter.
